Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PRIMAL CORTEX SOCIAL (the "App"), operated by Primal Cortex Records, handles the data of artists and creators who use it.

1. Data we access

Basic profile information of the accounts you connect (TikTok scope user.info.basic: open ID, display name, avatar) to show which account is connected.
Access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok and other platforms after you authorize the App, used only to upload and publish content you approve (scopes video.upload and video.publish).
Creator posting settings returned by TikTok (for example available privacy options and maximum video length) to show you valid choices before posting.
Media files and captions that you provide for publishing.

We do not access your followers' data, messages, or other users' information.

2. How data is stored

Tokens are stored on our server in files with restricted permissions (owner-only read/write), never in public locations or source code.
Media to be published may be stored in a Cloudflare R2 storage bucket so platforms can fetch it during publishing.

3. How data is used

Data is used solely to publish your content to the accounts you connected. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or analytics.

4. No selling or sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties, except transmitting your content to the platforms you publish to and storing media with our hosting provider (Cloudflare).

5. Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only while a connection is active and are deleted when you disconnect, revoke access, or ask us. Media can be deleted on request. To request deletion, contact us at the address below; we will act within 30 days.

6. Revoking access

You can revoke the App's access at any time in TikTok: open Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions, select PRIMAL CORTEX SOCIAL and choose Remove access. Meta and Google access can be removed in their respective account settings.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. Changes

Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
